The Freedom of Information Act 2014 allows you to make a request to access records held by the Sea-Fisheries Protection Authority (SFPA). It gives you the right to have your records corrected or updated, and allows you to get reasons for decisions made that affect you.

  • The right to access official records held by public bodies as defined by the Act, in this case the SFPA
  • The right to have personal information held on them corrected or updated where such information is incomplete, incorrect or misleading
