Jerry Early

Jerry Early is from Arranmore island and is currently the chairman of the Irish Islands Marine Resources Organisation.

Jerry has a lifetime experience of fishing behind him and has been representing the Irish Islands on all fishery matters for 15 years.

Jerry calls himself a proud islander and is immersed in Island ways.

He is very aware of the challenges facing Island fishers and indeed the inshore sector nationwide. When not representing fishermen, Jerry is busy at one of his many other roles which includes Operations Manager of the Arranmore Lifeboat. Inshore traditional fishers are finding it increasingly difficult to maintain a sustainable fishery on the island. Jerry will continue to represent the Island's at national level.
