SFPA Issues Information Notice to Trade regarding Export Health Certification for Indonesia

The Sea-Fisheries Protection Authority (SFPA) issued an Information Notice to industry in relation to technical requirements for Irish companies trading with Indonesia. The competent authority in Indonesia introduced the requirement for a specific export health certificate for exports of fishery products from Ireland to Indonesia. A copy of the new export health certificate template was included as well as the Indonesian list of their designated points of entry.

This new certificate should be used with immediate effect for all exports to Indonesia and is available on request by emailing the local SFPA port office. All export consignments of fishery products from Ireland to Indonesia must be accompanied by a copy of this specific health certificate as well as the SFPA generic certificate of origin and a catch certificate. All consignments must also arrive in Indonesia through a designated point of entry. Queries regarding this information notice may be addressed to SFPATradeandAudit@sfpa.ie
