This application form is for operators seeking approval for weighing equipment or systems in line with Regulation 12(1) of S.I. 54/2016 – Sea Fisheries (Community Control System) Regulations 2016 and Article 60(1) of (EC) 1224/2009. Under these Regulations, an operator shall not use any equipment or system for weighing a fishery product unless it is approved by the Legal Metrology Service and the SFPA and complies with Article 72 of (EU) 404/2011.
