Comhairliúchán Poiblí don Straitéis 2024 - 2026

Leagann an tÚdarás um Chosaint Iascaigh Mhara (SFPA) amach a chlár straitéiseach gach trí bliana.
Táimid ag ullmhú an Ráitis Straitéise do 2024 – 2026 faoi láthair, a dhíreoidh ar cad ba mhaith linn a bhaint amach le linn na tréimhse seo chun a chinntiú go seachadaimid an rialachán éifeachtach atá lárnach do réadú na físe do na hacmhainní mara comhroinnte timpeall na hÉireann.
Mar chuid de phróiseas forbartha na straitéise, fáiltímid roimh an méid a chuireann daoine den phobal agus páirtithe leasmhara leis, go háirithe iad siúd a thagann faoi shainchúram rialála SFPA.

Fáiltímid roimh do thuairimí go sonrach maidir leis na ceisteanna seo a leanas:
•    Cad iad na hábhair ba chóir a bhreithniú agus misean, fís agus Ráitis Luacha SFPA á bhforbairt?
•    Cad iad na méadrachtaí ar cheart don ÚCIM a úsáid chun ár bhfeidhmíocht a thomhas agus chun monatóireacht a dhéanamh ar bhaint amach ár spriocanna straitéiseacha?

Bheimis buíoch díot do fhreagra a fháil mar aon le tuairimí ginearálta ar bith eile a d'fhéadfadh a bheith agat ar threo straitéiseach SFPA agus ar an mbealach is fearr is féidir leis a shainchúram a chomhlíonadh.

Cuir isteach do fhreagra trí ríomhphost chuig strategy@sfpa.ie faoi dheireadh an ghnó Déardaoin, 21ú Nollaig 2023.

Tabhair faoi deara le do thoil go mbeidh aighneachtaí faighte faoi réir an tAcht um Shaoráil Faisnéise 2014.

Public Consultation for Strategy 2024 - 2026

The Sea-Fisheries Protection Authority (SFPA) sets out its strategic programme every three years.
We are currently preparing the Statement of Strategy for 2024 – 2026, which will focus on what we want to achieve during this period to ensure we deliver the effective regulation that is central to the realisation of the vision for the shared marine resources surrounding Ireland.
As part of the process of developing the strategy, we welcome the contribution of members of the public and stakeholders, especially those who fall within the SFPA’s regulatory remit.
We would welcome your views specifically in relation to the following questions:
•    What matters should be considered in developing the SFPA mission, vision, and value Statements?
•    What metrics should the SFPA use to measure our performance and monitor achievement of our strategic goals?

We would be grateful to receive your response together with any more general views you may have on the strategic direction of the SFPA and how it can best deliver on its remit.
Please submit your response by email to strategy@sfpa.ie by close of business Thursday, 21st December 2023.

Please be advised that submissions received will be subject to the Freedom of Information Act 2014.
