John Menarry

John Menarry is a commercial inshore fisherman from South Donegal with over 30 years’ experience in the Irish fishing industry. Beginning his career while still at school, he has worked across both the offshore and inshore sectors and now operates his own vessel, specialising in lobster, brown crab. As Vice Chairman of the National Inshore Fishermen’s Association (NIFA), John is a committed advocate for sustainable fisheries, strong coastal communities, and fair representation for Ireland’s inshore fishing sector.
